![]() In 2, you venture out of your room constantly where threats can be waiting for you. There's also packages you can buy that can be used to aid you at the cost of forcing you to confront threats head on where as in the first game, you stay inside your house the entire game. 2 just has more going for it that will constantly test you.Įdit: There's also a new mechanic where you have to constantly hack into different wifi in order to have a faster time surfing the web and most importantly prevent the FBI from arresting you and time is very valuable in this game which imo adds more layers to the constant threats. Play one if you really need the basics but again, really simple once you learn how to deal with the threats. ![]() That's not to say the Kidnapper or the Serial Killer won't kill you, I'm just saying once you learn everything about them and how to identify them, the game is pretty simple and if you have no problems finding codes, there isn't any other threats to stop you where as in the second game, you have to deal with 4 threats in total, 5 if you activate the Doll Maker. In 1, It's a great game and will definintely scare you for the first couple hours but in my opinion, once you learn the basics of how to deal with the kidnapper and serial killer and knowing about the blue bar to indicate if a code is on a site or not, the game is pretty simple to the point where your only concern is solving the annoying puzzles and looking site after site trying to find the codes. You have to deal with the Police, The Hitman, A Serial Killer, and the Noir and must adjust your strategy accordingly to every possible situation, constantly keeping you on your toes which obviously makes the game more tense, and thus enjoyable. Both games are great but I'm going to go with 2 due to the fact that it's more fun simply for the fact that there's more going on.
